James Te Puni – Business Consultant
James impressive resume includes helping drive one of the most recognised Retail brands as National Retail Manager, Hallensteins. He then moved into a General Management role at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa where he made an impressive impact before moving on to New Zealand Post in a Marketing Directors role.
James was appointed CEO of the Hurricanes & Wellington Rugby in 20011 and held this role until 2015 making a significant contribution in building the commercial and rugby success of this franchise.
In 2015 James established his own consulting business First Things First. Since its inception he has worked on projects for NZTA, Fletcher Construction/Beca,/Higgins, EQC, NZ Post Group, Chrometoaster, Real Aotearoa and Dempsey Wood. He was awarded his MBA with distinction from Victoria University in 2004.
James is a Titahi Bay local and is helping to build Mana Today as he has a passion to build an asset that will help promote local community events and organisations as well as support local business owners.
